Nicolas DELARMESSIN (Paris 1684 -1755) "La Sainte Vierge" Original etching by a subject by Raphael, from the collection entitled "Recueil d'Estampes d'apres les plus beaux tableaux ... qui sont en France" printed and published in Paris in 1729. Beautiful specimen printed on laid paper bearing the literal watermark of the "Papeterie d'Auvergne" typical of French paper production of the seventeenth century, with large margins beyond the imprint of the plate and in an almost perfect general state of conservation .
